Bryan K. Brenner, CEO and Founder of FirstPerson, loves connecting with people, making an impact on his community, and seeing fresh ideas take flight. He’s built FirstPerson to advise organizations in the selection of comprehensive and cost-effective benefits – a key component in the attraction and retention of top talent in today’s competitive marketplace. Bryan’s leadership, entrepreneurial vision, and deep understanding of modern human resource needs has made FirstPerson a market leader in benefits, compensation, and employee development strategies.
Bryan is passionate about helping Indianapolis grow while retaining its welcoming spirit. He dedicates time to charitable work by serving on several boards including the Butler University Board of Trustees, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and the Indy Chamber. Joining YPO in 2013, Bryan has served as communications chair, membership chair, and now is a forum leader. He impacts the benefits industry in his role as advisory board member of NFP, a global insurance consultancy that serves as a clearing house for best practices.
Bryan is a huge “Dawgs” fan, graduating cum laude from Butler University with degrees in public/corporate communications and journalism. He has also earned the designation Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) from American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.
Bryan met his wife, Elaine, at Butler University. They have four children—Caroline (a Butler freshman), Grace, John Michael, and Lily. Favorite times are with family and friends – celebrating family milestones, cheering on the Butler Bulldogs at basketball games, and attending musical and theatrical performances locally and in New York City.
