As Marketing Specialist, Tara assists with FirstPerson’s marketing strategy, development, and execution. She also manages sponsorships and external events, including our bi-monthly Fresh Perspectives series. Each month, Tara sends out FirstPerson’s e-newsletter, First to Know, which she writes, edits, and coordinates.
Prior to joining FirstPerson, Tara completed internships at Johnson, Grossnickle & Associates and St.Vincent Health. Her experience provided key marketing and project management skills, which are critical to her current role.
Tara enjoys traveling and spending time with her fiancé, Jacob, and their dog, Rada. She recently began volunteering her talents at Outreach, Inc., an organization dedicated to helping homeless teens in Indianapolis. Tara and Jacob also support the work of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
Tara is a recent MBA graduate from the University of Indianapolis, with a concentration in marketing and a focus in organizational leadership. She is also a summa cum laude graduate of Marian University, with a BS in marketing, a minor in communication, and a concentration in business creation and development.
