Paul serves as an Advisor for our mid-market clients and is a key part of our new business development efforts. As the ambassador of the FirstPerson brand, Paul looks for ways to grow our business and enhance our involvement in the community. Through these efforts, he develops quality relationships with strategic partners and clients.
Prior to joining FirstPerson, Paul was the Director of Employee Benefits for Smith Financial Corporation. Paul ran the benefits consulting practice, working with 70 employers with 5 to 2000 full-time employees. Paul actually started his career at FirstPerson where he served as a Lead Consultant with our small group clients.
Paul is married with three wonderful children and is passionate about wine and wine history. In the community, Paul serves on Outreach, Inc. marketing and development committee where he helps to expand their corporate partnerships and provide fund development support. Outreach, Inc. is an inner city non-profit ministry that serves homeless youths between the ages of 12-24 in central Indiana.
A graduate of Ball State University, Paul earned a degree in Exercise Physiology. He also earned the Group Benefits Associate (GBA) and Compensation Management Specialist (CMS) designations from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School/International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plan (IFEBP) as part of the IFEBP’s Certified Employee Benefit Specialist program.
