Linda leads the charge when it comes to ensuring your business meets all of the necessary compliance requirements. She serves as our expert resource on COBRA, FMLA, Cafeteria plans, Medicare Part D, Summary Plan Descriptions and Plan documentation. She also oversees preparation of annual 5500 forms and Summary Annual Reports. Linda is also available to advise on Medicare eligibility and education.
After graduating from Indiana University's School of Business, Linda completed the Employee Benefits course at the Institute for Paralegal Training in Philadelphia, just as ERISA was passed. Returning to Indianapolis, she worked for a local retirement plan administration firm restating hundreds of retirement plans for ERISA compliance.
When Benefit Consultants, Inc. was formed in 1980, Linda joined forces with Russ to provide advice and documentation for cafeteria plans, 5500 form preparation and research support for Benefit Consultants customers. In 1986, she founded a COBRA administration company that was later sold to a national COBRA administration firm, which continues to be operational today. |
