Wellness Tax Credit Ending

We are sad to report that the Wellness Tax Credit in Indiana is coming to an end. Starting in 2012, Indiana companies will no longer be eligible to receive a tax credit for having a wellness program in place.

The credit, which has been in place since 2007, has helped a great number of Indiana businesses to start and maintain wellness programs. As a small business, FirstPerson has qualified for the credit since its inception. We will not stop our own wellness initiatives because the credit is ending, and we hope you won't either. We hope that this change does not detour those small businesses that are focused on the overall health and productivity of their workforce.
