Benefits firm adds wellness and onsite clinic advisor Milus, a registered nurse, to provide guidance on employee programs
Indianapolis, 2010—Benefit Associates/Benefit Consultants, one of Central Indiana’s leading employee benefits firms, has hired Spencer Milus as an advisor for wellness and onsite strategies.
A registered nurse with experience in the hospital and health insurance industries, Milus will advise businesses on employee wellness and onsite clinics, and help guide Benefit Associates/Business Consultants as the firm expands its offerings in those areas.
Milus comes to Benefit Associates/Business Consultants from Community Health Network/Infinity Employer Health Solutions, where she was executive director of sales. She previously worked at Wellpoint and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. The Columbus, Ind., native earned a nursing degree at St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Ind.
“As companies seek the best, most economical ways to address overall employee health, more and more are emphasizing wellness, and many are considering the addition of onsite clinics,” said Benefit Associates CEO Bryan Brenner. “We’re investing in programs, services and people – like Spencer – to support our clients in those areas.”
