DOL Offers Compliance Webcast Series

Though it's not yet Monday, we bring you an early update regarding the Department of Labor's upcoming webcast series. Next week, on Tuesday and Wednesday, the DOL is offering free webcasts on health care reform-related topics. The webcasts will not only cover items themselves, but give participants a chance to ask questions and get answers directly from the source.
Day 1:
September 7, 2010 1:00 PM - The Affordable Care Act - Part I
Part I of the webcast series will cover the grandfathered health plan rule, dependent coverage of children to age 26, the prohibition on preexisting conditions for children under age 19, the prohibition on lifetime limits, and the restrictions on annual dollar limits.
Day 2:
September 8, 2010 1:00 PM - The Affordable Care Act - Part II
Part II of the webcast series will cover internal claims and appeals and external review, the prohibition on rescissions, patient protections, and coverage of preventive services.
